Most physician practices/hospitals do not have the expertise to
negotiate for better pricing or understand the consequences to a
manufacturer (i.e. Best Price Implications, Gross-to-Net Impact,
Secondary Discounting, Co-Pay Buy Down Risk, etc.) which prohibits pricing in
certain channels. An overall lack of understanding of the reimbursement landscape for
both the manufacturer or the practice/hospital.

best deal for a practice or hospital based on clinical and economic
profiles of products in each of these channels.

contracting directly on behalf of the practice with the manufacturer.
